Commercial type / authorised sources
Buy type
properly.
Paid fonts are not free downloads with a different label. Buy from the foundry or an authorised marketplace so the designer is paid and your licence covers the way you actually use the type.
Our rule
We do not host, mirror or link to pirated font files. Every link on this page goes to a seller or foundry that can issue a real licence.
Licence terms differ by seller and by use. Always read the EULA before you embed a font in a product.

Before you pay
One font, several licences
A desktop licence does not automatically cover a website, an app or a logo. Match the licence to every place the font will appear.
| Use | What it typically covers |
|---|---|
| Desktop | Install on a fixed number of computers for print, mockups and static design. |
| Web | Serve the font files from your site. Usually priced by monthly pageviews. |
| App | Embed the font in iOS, Android or desktop software. Often a separate licence. |
| Logo & brand | Use in a trademark or identity. Some foundries require an extended licence. |
| Packaging | Print on products for resale. Check whether a commercial or extended licence applies. |
| Broadcast | Use in film, TV, streaming or large-scale out-of-home campaigns. |
